Overview
The intervention in regional development and planning, as well as in rural development, in a holistic perspective, is a gap in our country in terms of post-graduate education, which justifies the interest of this course. The curricular structure of this course is based on an integrated scientific project, guided by a thread of interconnection of knowledge between the different subjects within the scope of Economics, Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Political Science.

Objectives

This program aims to educate specialists on Sustainable Management of Rural Areas, with an adequate profile to intervene on regional planning and development, rural development and all the areas related with intervention on rural territories, in an holistic perspective of economic resources sustainability.

Operating Mode

The course works in a distance learning (b-learning)/synchronous mode from 19h00 to 21h00. Classes are arranged between the teacher of the UC and the students, and there is no fixed schedule.

Target Public

Holders of a graduation in a variety of areas such as Agronomic Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Economic Sciences, Social Sciences, and Landscape Architecture. The technicians working on Coordination and Development Commissions, Local Development Associations, Local Action Groups, etc., will also be target groups.

 

Tuition and Fees 2024/2025

National Students: 1100 Euros p/ year

International Students*: 2400 Euros p/ year

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 175 Euros

Note: The  tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.
