Completed the Doutoramento in Engenharia Física in 2004/07/07 by Universidade de Lisboa - Instituto Superior Técnico and Licenciatura in Engenharia Física Tecnológica in 1992 by Universidade de Lisboa - Instituto Superior Técnico. Is Assistant Professor at Universidade do Algarve - Campus de Gambelas and is in charge of the operational status of the MOTLAB - Laboratory of the Quantum Plasmas Group, at Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear, where are developed cold atoms and ultracold plasmas experiments. Participates and/or participated as Research Fellow in 1 project(s).
