Mid- Season Campus - Economics

University of Algarve’s Mid-Season Campus will take place in the week of 10th to 16th of June. The program is FREE and includes courses in the morning and sports and cultural activities in the afternoon (such as boat trips, hiking, visit of some places of cultural interest etc.). Accommodation and all meals are also included. The coming and return trips are sole responsibility of the students. The participants must be aged 18 or above.

Target audience

This course is designed for students and young researchers who wish to enrol in an international MSc program in the areas of Management, Economics or Tourism. Candidates should hold or be about to hold a B.A. in a relevant field of study. The students have to be fluent in english. It is not mandatory to speak portuguese.

Main goals

This course aims at providing students with an insight into what they may expect if they enrol in one of the international MSc courses offered by the School of Economics. In particular, participants will have the opportunity to meet Faculty members, fellow students and some of our institutional and private partners. They will also learn about what the School of Economics is currently doing in terms of research and teaching.

 

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is free of charge and includes six nights, breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. The rooms can be shared. The participants are covered by insurance.

Visit the local firm, "Novacortiça", and learn how real word businesses operate. You will have the chance to talk to the management and CEO of the company.
