The School of Education and Communication is organizing, on May 25th, from 09:00, Animagoria - Animated Films Exhibition, which will take place in the Paulo Freire Amphitheatre of the ESEC, in the Penha Campus.

ANIMAGORIA is a show that intends to give voice and visibility to young authors, besides highlighting socially and politically conscious animation films. It intends to think of the animated image as an art form capable of communicating with and about the world, a means of resistance, a cradle of respect for diversity.

In this sense, the theme of the exhibition is "Identity" and a debate will be held around the films shown with a diverse panel of guests. The final debate space seeks to interconnect animation cinema with other areas, such as Philosophy and Human and Social Sciences, so that the experience of watching a film expands beyond the screen.

"Lugar em Parte Nenhuma" (2016), "In the Middle of Nowhere" (2021), "Sentir-me" (2019), "Ouch!" (2021), "The Voyager" (2017), "Game On" (2022), "Love Me, Fear Me" (2017), "Inside Me" (2019), "Dandedog" (2020), "Ímpar" (2021) e "Ode à Infância" (2019) are the animated short films that will be screened.

Admission is free and open to the general public, with prior registration here.
