Center for World University Rankings places UAlg in the top world universities
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) has released the World University ranking for 2020-21. The University of Algarve (UAlg) appears in the top 5.9% worldwide, standing out in 7th place at national level, among the 14 national institutions observed.
In a total of 20 thousand universities, evaluated based on teaching quality indicators, employability of former students, research performance, quality of publications, among other parameters, UAlg appears in position 1178. The evaluation given to the University of Algarve gives a special focus to research, a parameter in which the institution stands out, being classified in position 1120.
