The University of Algarve, through its Faculty of Science & Technology, the Center for Technological Research of Algarve (CINTAL) and the Portuguese Association of Automatic Control (APCA) will organize the 3rd IFAC Conference on Embedded Systems, Computational Intelligence and Telematics in Control – CESCIT 2018, which will take place in the University of Algarve, from 6 to 8 June, 2018.
CESCIT is a triennial conference co-locating all events of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Coordinating Committee 3 – Computers, Cognition and Communication in the year following the IFAC World Congress. As such, CESCIT 2018 is technically sponsored by the following Technical Committees: Computers for Control (TC 3.1), Computational Intelligence in Control (TC 3.2.), Telematics: Control via Communication Networks (TC 3.3.), and technically cosponsored by Modelling, Identification and Signal Processing (TC 1.1.), Adaptive and Learning Systems (TC 1.2.), Discrete Event and Hybrid Systems (TC 1.3.), Control Design (TC 2.1.), Linear Control Systems (TC 2.2.), Robust Control (TC 2.5.), Robotics (TC 4.3.), Human Machine Systems (TC 4.5.), Automotive Control (TC 7.1.), Aerospace (TC 7.3), and Intelligent Autonomous Vehicles (TC 7.5.).
The aim of CESCIT 2018 is to serve as a platform for scientists, researchers, and practitioners to discuss their forefront research results and findings, to shape their future directions and developments, and to exchange their knowledge and perspectives in the fields of computer control, intelligent control, and communication and telematics.
