Overview
The aim of this course is to train technicians from civil society associations, UTIs (Universities of the Third Age) and municipalities, in order to support them in building education and learning programmes that can benefit a growing number of older citizens.

Objectives

  • Understand the biological, psychological, social and cultural components of the ageing process
  • Reflect on the influence of structural factors on ageing processes
  • Understand the influence that education and learning in later life can have on the quality of life of older adults
  • Know how to design and build socio-educational projects suitable for older adults
  • Apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the design of an educational programme for older adults, taking into account the philosophy and mission of the institutions from which the trainees come

Operating Mode

The after-school course will operate on a mixed basis (face-to-face and distance learning).

Tuition and Fees 2024/2025

National Students: 1100 Euros

International Students*: 1100 Euros

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 150 Euros

Note: The tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.
