Overview
The Master's in Processes of Creation, a first in the country, aims to promote the humanistic, cultural and artistic training of students through the knowledge of theoretical, analytical and critical tools conducive to understanding artistic, literary and cultural practices from the point of view of the genesis of artistic works and the study of processes of creation. This training aims to create and increase research in various cross-cutting fields of the Arts and Humanities, from the visual arts to the scenic and performance arts, including literature, cinema, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital arts, among others.

Objectives

  • To provide researchers with methodological tools for understanding, interpreting and evaluating creative processes, making it possible to understand the complexity of the area that comes from the general nature of systems and the specificities of artistic, literary, cultural and media objects.
  • To think about creation in general terms through the singularities of each process and its interconnections.
  • Understand the universe of the media as a support and tool for creating and disseminating creative processes.
  • Encourage artists to immerse themselves in the world of research into creative processes

Operating Mode

B-Learning course: this will work on a mixed basis (face-to-face and distance learning).

Tuition and Fees 2024/2025

National Students: 2200 Euros (1100 Euros p/ year)

International Students*: 2200 Euros (1100 Euros p/ year)

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 175 Euros

Note: The  tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.

* in accordance with Decree-Law No. 36/2014, changed by Decree-Law No.62/2018, of 6th August, international students are nationals of a country which is not a Member State of the European Union and are not a legally resident in Portugal for more than 2 uninterrupted years by 1st of January of the enrolment year
