UAlg present at the European Languages Council Forum

 
In order to reflect on the future of multilingualism in higher education and on the concept of internationalization in the COVID era, and, above all, after COVID, the annual forum of the European Council of Languages will take place on 3 and 4 December (CEL), with the participation of the University of Algarve.

In addition to Manuel Célio Conceição, professor at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences (FCHS) and one of the organizers of the event, the paragraph will also count on the participation of Marleni Azevedo, responsible for the UAlg International Relations and Mobility Office

This event is held annually and aims to present and discuss research results in the areas of multilingualism and the management of linguistic diversity, especially in higher education, and the respective societal impact. Reflections on future lines of research and action will also be presented, relating the place of languages in the production and dissemination of knowledge (of science) and in respect for the diversity of speakers and their respective rights.

The Forum is held online on the TEAMS platform.
