Vitae, in collaboration with Naturejobs, Science Europe, LERU and other partners, is now conducting the second phase of the project ‘What do research staff do next?’, which focuses on the career paths of researchers who left research posts from European universities or research institutes.
Combined with the first phase, the project results will:
• provide a valuable resource to aid current and prospective researchers to make well-informed decisions about their careers, including information on potential employment opportunities for research staff considering moving out of higher education
• support organisations in the careers provision they provide to researchers
• help inform future policy-making
EURAXESS EU is helping Vitae to promote the initiative: it would be great if you could do the same!
To this end, if you know of individuals who have worked as a researcher in a European university or public research institute and has not followed an academic career route, please forward the link to the project survey www.surveymonkey.com/s/wdrsdn-E
Further information about the project is available on the Vitae website (logo attached, should you need it).
Thank you in advanvce for your kind collaboration!
