Erasmus+ Application Process for 2016/2017

The International Relations and Mobility Office (IRMO) inform that the application’s for the Erasmus+ Programme for 2016/2017, for students (studies/trainings) and also for staff (teaching/training) are open until the 15th january 2016.

Students

Students who wish to do a study period in Europe should consult the List of Bilateral Agreements, fill in the Application Form, attach all requested documents and deliver you application to the Mobility Coordinator of your Faculty/School/Institute/Department.

The minimum period for studies is 3 months and the maximum 12 months. You should see carefully the agreement’s that the University of Algarve has and choose the best solution for you and for your study plan and guarantee that you have equivalences.

You should fill the following documents:

Learning Agreement for studies;

Please take into consideration that to be able to do a mobility period you should have completed 60 ECTS. You can apply without those 60 ECTS but your application will be conditional until you make proof to your Mobility Coordinator and to IRMO that you have achieved the 60 ECTS.

Also, foreign students registered at the University of Algarve can not apply to do a mobility period to their home countries. These mobilities are not eligible under the Erasmus+ Programme.

In case you prefer to do a training period in Europe you can do it in an Institution of your choice, for a minimum period of 2 months and maximum of 12 months.

You should also fill in the Application Form and the Learning Agreement for Traineeships and deliver the application process at the International Relations and Mobility Office the moment your application is completed. By completed we mean accepted by the University of Algarve and by the Host Institution (acceptance letter and Learning Agreement for Traineeships duly signed by all intervenient’s).
