No, you will be allowed to postpone payment of the first instalment of your tuition fees. When registering and enrolling, you must select ‘Scholarship applicant’ on the Academic Portal and submit proof of your scholarship application if requested by Academic Services, sending the information to propinas@ualg.pt.
 

For scholarships from Social Services, you will only have to pay the tuition fee when you receive notification that the scholarship has been granted. For other scholarships awarded by external entities, the deadline for paying tuition fees is extended to 31 July without interest if, by the end of the academic year, you are still unaware of the decision on the award of the scholarship or, if it has been approved, it has not yet been effectively awarded to you. In cases where external entities make direct payment of tuition fees to the University of Algarve during the term of the scholarship, you will be exempt from complying with the procedures related to the payment of tuition fees.
