The UAlg Publisher was founded in December 2017, its main objective being to publish - digitally and physically - scientific, teaching, technical, cultural and artistic papers produced by members of the University of Algarve, fulfilling the objectives of research, cooperation and university extension defined in scientific, cultural and teaching policies laid out by the institution’s competent bodies.
Within the scope of the production resulting from the University of Algarve’s regular operations, various types of works may come to be edited, specifically studies and essays, teaching-related material, exhibition catalogues, dissemination texts, theses, literary and artistic publications.
Orders are formalised by submitting a proposal that responds to items 1 to 12 listed in the Rules for Submission of Works for Publication (available below, under the 'documents' tab). The proposal must be accompanied by a file containing a copy of the work proposed for editing.
