Collective exhibition "OceanArt: Science to Art"
This is the 2nd edition of the collective exhibition "OceanArt: Science to Art". Scientists and artists come together again to raise awareness about the problems the Ocean faces, to achieve the mobilisation of citizens for its protection and restoration. Thus, the principle of the exhibition remains to inform in order to raise awareness and change behaviours that are harmful to the ocean.
Thirteen artists present more than twenty artworks of painting, sculpture and photography related to the Ocean. Each artwork presented is associated with corresponding scientific information. Photographs related to some CCMAR's scientific research projects are also displayed.
This edition has the support of the Municipality of Odemira, the Parish Council of Vila Nova de Milfontes, and the School Nossa Senhora da Graça. It also has the sponsorship of the wines "Barranco Longo".
