UMBC-UAlg Webinar on Environmental Challenges in Economics

The University of Algarve, through the Research Centre for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being and the School of Economics, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (USA) are organising the second seminar in the series on economics, tourism and public policy.

The session will take place on 30 October at 16:00 (Lisboa time, PT) and will be led by Professor Maria Bernedo Del Carpio (UMBC, Department of Economics) and Professor Pedro Pintassilgo (University of Algarve, School of Economics, and CEFAGE researcher).

This seminar will address pressing environmental challenges from an economic perspective, with a focus on water management and fisheries, offering a broad overview of the research being conducted at both institutions.
