Overview
The Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy (IMR) degree course trains professionals capable of carrying out all studies in the area of ​​radiology, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine with excellence.

Objectives

The graduate in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy performs functions in close contact with the patient, carrying out studies in the field of diagnostic imaging, namely Conventional Radiology, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Mammography, Digital Angiography, Osteodensitometry and Ultrasound. In the areas of radiotherapy and nuclear medicine, he carries out studies in the therapeutic component, mainly in oncology, such as Radiopharmacy, Conventional Nuclear Medicine, Positron Emissions Tomography, Nuclear Hematology, Radioimmunoassay Assays and Radiotherapy developing various therapeutic activities.

The applications for public higher education are made annually through national call and/or special contests.
