The University of Algarve Participatory Budgeting (PB-UAlg) is a democratic and collaborative initiative that challenges the entire academic community to take an active role in improving and modernizing our campuses.
With the aim of promoting active citizenship, transparency in public management, institutional cohesion, and sustainability, PB-UAlg invites students, academic staff, researchers, and non-academic staff to propose, discuss, and vote on projects of collective interest.
More than just a platform for sharing ideas, this is a space where the community has the power to decide how a portion of the University's budget is allocated, turning proposals into tangible improvements that enhance everyday life for everyone.

Proposals may be submitted either individually or by teams of up to six members.
