Proposal Submission – Participatory Budgeting

The 4th Edition of OP-UAlg Has Begun!

The proposal submission phase will take place between October and November, but the challenge starts today. We invite the entire academic community, including students, academic staff, non-academic staff, and researchers, to identify needs, share ideas, and design projects that will make a difference across our campuses.

We have €90,000 available to invest in ideas that contribute to improving the University of Algarve.

To learn more about the types of projects that can be submitted and how the process works, please consult the supporting documents:

- Participatory Budgeting Regulations – Learn about the participation rules, eligibility criteria, and budget limits.
- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - Find answers to common questions about who can participate, how to submit a proposal, and key deadlines.

Since its launch in 2023, OP-UAlg has strengthened internal democracy and encouraged the active involvement of the academic community in enhancing our campuses. Below, you can explore the history of the initiative and the winning projects from each edition.
