Conditions of access

Admission requirements:
a) Holders of a degree in Psychology or its legal equivalent.
b) Holders of a foreign academic degree obtained after completing a 1st cycle of studies in Psychology organized following the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process.
c) Holders of a foreign academic degree recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree in Psychology by the scientific council of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Algarve.

The recognition mentioned in paragraphs b) to c) solely allows access to the master's degree program and does not imply equivalence to a graduate degree or confer recognition of such a degree.
 

Criteria for selection of the candidates

Ranking criteria:
Curricular assessment and/or interview or practical selection test (as the Course Director decides).
SCORE = GRADE OBTAINED IN PREVIOUS ACADEMIC DEGREE (70%) + TYPE OF DEGREE (5%) + RESEARCH EXPERIENCE (10%) + SOFTWARE (10%) + CLINICAL EXPERIENCE (5%)

Required documentation:
Candidates must submit their application by completing the online form and uploading the following documents:
• Certificate of qualifications, with a transcript of courses (proof of degree ownership, indicating the overall grade); in the case of foreign qualifications, a certificate must be attached, duly authenticated by the consulate/embassy.
• Copy of ID card or Passport
• Curriculum Vitae (with personal, academic, and professional data)
• Proof of payment of the application fee (€50).
