Conditions of access
1. BSc (or MSc) degree in biology, ecology, environmental sciences, oceanography, marine sciences, geography, geology, or related courses or others provided that the curriculum is considered adequate, with a minimum of 180 ECTS.
2. Knowledge of English:
• TOEFL certificate: minimum: 570 points (Paper) or 87 points (Internet)
• IELTS C certificate: minimum value: 6.5
• Proof from an English language teaching center (level C1)
• Proof that the student has had classes in English, for at least one year at the university level.
3. a) Holders of a Bachelor's degree or legal equivalent;
b) Holders of a foreign higher education degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this process;
c) Holders of a foreign higher education degree that is recognized as satisfying the objectives of the Bachelor of science degree by the statutorily competent scientific body of the higher education institution where they intend to be admitted;
d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized as attesting to the ability to carry out this cycle of studies, by the statutorily competent scientific body of the higher education establishment where they intend to be admitted.
4. The recognition referred to in items b) to d) of point 2 has only affects access to the cycle of studies leading to a Master of Science degree and does not grant its holder equivalence to a Bachelor of Science degree or recognition of that degree.

Criteria for selection of the candidates
Undergraduate degree grade point average, motivation letter, letters of recommendation, publications, participation in symposia and experience (research), proof of knowledge of English.
