This application aims to restructure the technological infrastructures on the Penha Campus. The intention is therefore to modernise the Penha Campus with modern infrastructures that enable the streamlining and dematerialisation of processes. Thus, the operation will consist of: increasing the bandwidth between the two campuses; improving technological accessibility at the Penha Campus (creation of research clouds and a cooperative cloud with the Polytechnic Institute of Beja); distributing virtual desktop infraestructure (VDI) on the Penha Campus; dematerialising the accommodation management of the University of Algarve’s halls of residence; dematerialising the University of Algarve’s internal quality system and the current system of attendance control through the use of technological solutions.
