Overview

The Integrated Master's in Medicine at the University of Algarve (MIM-UAlg) is an innovative course in Portugal, which follows a teaching philosophy widely tested and proven by reputable international universities. This innovation is reflected in active learning, in a closer relationship with students and between them and the community they will serve in the future. It is also reflected in a strong investment in research, providing students and future doctors with a privileged and unique contact in the country with basic and clinical research.

Tuition and Fees 2022/2023

National Students: 697 Euros

Application Fee: 100 Euros (requested when formalizing the online application)

Admission Fee to Selection Tests: 175 Euros (only requested to candidates who meet the requirements and accepted for selection)

Note: The  tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.

Career Opportunities

 

The doctors trained by UAlg will be able to do general internship and access exam to the specialty like any other doctor trained by any other Faculty of Medicine.

The medical course allowed me to embark on a medical career. The teaching-learning methodology (PBL) is, in my view, one of the major differentials of the course, which, together with the professionalism and constant monitoring by the lecturers and tutors, allows us to evolve and develop knowledge in a gradual and unique way.
