Overview
The Master in Educational Psychology is intended for the professional training of educational psychologists, namely in the areas of psychopedagogical assessment and intervention, psychological orientation and career counseling, intervention in special educational needs, community intervention, among other disciplines in the field of Psychology Education, Development and Counselling. It is a training offer in one of the most consolidated areas of intervention in Psychology, which seeks to respond to training needs (regional and national) and international requirements, within the scope of the qualification of educational psychologists.

Objectives

The main goal of the master program in Educational Psychology is to provide advanced training in this area of expertise, developing significant theoretical, professional and research skills.

The professional strand provides strong training in psycho educational assessment, special needs, career guidance and counseling, psycho-pedagogical intervention, among other disciplines of the domain of the Educational Psychology.

The research strand of the master program offers advanced preparation for scientific research, through intensive training in theoretical as well as methodological aspects of the educational psychology.

In addition to these two strands, this 2nd  cycle includes a graduate course in this area of expertise.

Tuition and Fees 2024/2025

National Students: 697 Euros p/ year

International Students*: 2000 Euros p/ year

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 175 Euros

Note: The  tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.

* in accordance with Decree-Law No. 36/2014, changed by Decree-Law No.62/2018, of 6th August, international students are nationals of a country which is not a Member State of the European Union and are not a legally resident in Portugal for more than 2 uninterrupted years by 1st of January of the enrolment year
