Overview
Advanced theoretical and practical skills in specific areas of agricultural sciences and the development of a spirit of autonomy, critical analysis, conception and application of the scientific method are what distinguishes this course taught by the University of Algarve, in partnership with the University of Évora.

Objectives

  • Provide candidates with skills that allow them to develop original and independent research and be able to transmit it.
  • Capacity and knowledge to create or integrate leading edge enterprises related to agricultural production and to create or integrate research teams in the area of agricultural sciences

Operating Mode

The course is predominantly in Natural and Environmental Sciences and lasts 8 semesters.

Tuition and Fees 2024/2025

National Students: 

first year curriculum: 1250€

other curricular year: 1250€

International Students*:  

first year curriculum: 2500€

other curricular year: 2500€

Application Fee: 100 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 275 Euros

Note: The tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.

* in accordance with Decree-Law No. 36/2014, changed by Decree-Law No.62/2018, of 6th August, international students are nationals of a country which is not a Member State of the European Union and are not a legally resident in Portugal for more than 2 uninterrupted years by 1st of January of the enrolment year
