World Ranking of Universities once again highlights UAlg for its international projection

According to the results provided by Times Higher Education (THE), the University of Algarve is included, for the fourth consecutive year, in the world ranking of universities. Although the number of Higher Education institutions has increased, UAlg remains between positions 801 and 1000 worldwide, standing out in the international projection, with the best national result in this indicator.

The 2021 edition of this ranking, which includes 1527 universities from all over the world, is prepared taking into account the different strengths of institutions, such as teaching, research, international projection (teachers, students and research) and knowledge transfer.

The publication considers that the strongest point of the Algarve Academy continues to be its international projection, placing it in position 334 among the 1527 institutions evaluated, thus obtaining a better classification compared to 2020, the year in which it occupied the 343 position of 1396 institutions from around the world.
