UAlg represented at strategic SEA-EU mobility meeting in Split
The UAlg delegation included Marleni Azevedo, Coordinator of the International Relations and Mobility Office (GRIM), along with Mercês Covas and Filipe Lage, also from GRIM.
Over the three days of meetings, representatives from partner universities reviewed the current state of mobility within the Alliance, with a focus on the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs), the monitoring of ongoing tasks, and the positioning of the MEG within the SEA-EU extension project — SEA-EU NEXT.
The agenda also included a strategic reflection on the challenges and opportunities of mobility since 2019, as well as the exchange of best practices among partners and discussions on the upcoming European funding period.
In parallel, participants took part in initiatives linked to the Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM), including a flag parade — a symbolic moment celebrating diversity and the European spirit, bringing together students and institutional representatives from various countries.
The programme concluded with plenary sessions, workshops, and dedicated spaces for sharing projects and initiatives, further strengthening cooperation among the Alliance’s universities.
UAlg’s participation in this meeting reinforces its active role in building a more integrated and efficient mobility framework, aligned with the strategic goals of the European University of the Seas — SEA-EU.
